Review
Throughout the whole process of learning this subject, ITC1014 : Business Computing, which is somewhat new to me, I was able to grasp how fundamental and important it is to have basic knowledge on using technology. This goes to all platforms be it phones, computers, televisions as well as cars. The reason being so, technology was created by men and should be able for men. This means that everyone should have the right to be able to use any form of technology that they possess in order to bring about a much more comfortable and simplified standard of living.
I myself as a student should give a stronger emphasis on studying about technology as most of the education approach nowadays are on a virtual screen compared to being within a book. From the assignments, I was able to learn the basics to most of the beginner programmes within a computer.
For Excel, I managed to learn on how to manipulate data as well as arrange it for an easier experience. On the other hand, Visual Basics Application (VBA) has gave me a better look on programming and coding. Microsoft Access has also allowed me to create databases, enabling easier reference when I want to use the information as statistics. Finally, this Web assignment allowed me to share my findings that I have gathered throughout the whole subject. I was able to present my data in a professional and creative fashion.
All in all, it was a very great and somewhat challenging experience when I was introduced to this subject as I had no basics in computers and coding whatsoever. However, it thought me that one does not have to be a programmer to code, nor does one have to be writer to write. Everyone is capable of learning what they desire and with that they should take the initiative to try programming and computing once in their lifetime.
